The Optics and Lasers Applications Symposium (Portuguese - Simpósio de Aplicações de Óptica e Lasers, SOL) aims to bring to undergraduate students, graduate and professionals interested in the area, the opportunity to attend presentations by renowned researchers, successful entrepreneurs (start-ups), and discuss with them new trends and opportunities that are emerging today for the applications of lasers and optics in Brazil.  The meeting lasts three days and will cover these topics: Lasers and Optics in aerospace applications, Laser materials processing, Laser isotope separation, Optical materials, Optical sensors and fiber-optic sensors, Development of lasers and Optical Diagnostic techniques.
